Responsibility
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile physical stock counts with system records and report variances.
- Implement and enforce stockroom policies, including organization, labeling, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels and prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure stockroom environment.
- Generate inventory reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Assist in training new staff on inventory management procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in stock records.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculating stock levels and reconciliations.
- Physical ability to lift and move stock items as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
