Responsibility
- Ensure all kitchenware, plates, cutlery, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and dried according to health safety standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, storage rooms, and back-of-house facilities.
- Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when necessary.
- Ensure the kitchen floor is clean, dry, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
- Manage the proper disposal of waste and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and chemicals as needed.
- Support the team during peak hours to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain the integrity and safety of all kitchen assets and equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent (SMK/SMA).
- Prior experience in a restaurant, catering, or cleaning service role is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment.
- Must be willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Highly disciplined, reliable, and possess a proactive work attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
