Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end import shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance processes.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Monitor shipment statuses and proactively resolve any delays or issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and import/export laws.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and inventory for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics strategies and reduce operational costs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving shipment-related concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, or international logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international trade regulations, including INCOTERMS.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CILT, CSCP) is a plus.
