Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end sea freight import operations, including coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including PIB/PEB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely customs clearance by liaising with customs authorities and resolving any discrepancies or delays.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth cargo movement and delivery.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in import regulations, tariffs, and trade policies to ensure compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to import shipments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, specifically in sea freight import operations.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, PIB/PEB documentation, and import procedures.
- Proven experience in customs clearance and coordination with government agencies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
