Responsibility

  • Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data with HR and finance departments to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including tax filings (e.g., PPh 21) and social security contributions (BPJS).
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and tax deductions with professionalism and clarity.
  • Collaborate with HR to onboard/offboard employees, ensuring seamless payroll adjustments.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; certification in payroll management is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a mid-to-large organization.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local Indonesian systems) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian payroll tax regulations (PPh 21) and labor laws.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian to liaise with employees and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to process improvements.
