Responsibility

  • Provide direct patient care in acute medical and surgical wards, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with diverse medical conditions, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patient responses and documenting outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, specialists, and allied health professionals, to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and training programs to enhance clinical practices and patient safety.

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from a recognized nursing board (e.g., SNI, NMC, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in acute care, medical, or surgical nursing (Senior Staff Nurse roles may require 4+ years).
  • Experience in multidisciplinary healthcare settings, with a strong understanding of inpatient care protocols.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages, such as Bahasa Indonesia, are a plus).
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practices, and continuous professional development.
  • BLS/ACLS certification is highly desirable.
