Responsibility
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to orthopaedic inpatients, including pre- and post-operative monitoring.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal recovery.
- Assist with pain management protocols, including PCA pumps and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Collaborate with surgeons and physiotherapists to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-surgical care, mobility exercises, and home safety precautions.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and escalate concerns to the medical team as needed.
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure a clean, safe ward environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license (STR) and registration with the Indonesian Nurses Association (PPNI).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopaedic, surgical, or acute care nursing (fresh graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered).
- Proficient in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) to communicate effectively with diverse patients and teams.
- Strong knowledge of orthopaedic nursing principles, including traction, casting, and wound care.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is a plus.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
