Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses and caregivers to ensure high-quality elderly care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents based on their medical and personal needs.
- Monitor and administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Conduct regular health assessments and maintain accurate medical records for all residents.
- Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and facility policies.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
- Train and mentor new staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in elderly care, geriatrics, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Knowledge of medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
