Responsibility
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing stations, ensuring optimal performance.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and package linens, garments, and other textiles according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Inspect laundry items for stains, tears, or damage, and apply appropriate treatments or report issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, such as detergents and fabric softeners, and request restocking when necessary.
- Follow proper handling and care instructions for different types of fabrics and materials to prevent damage.
- Assist in loading and unloading laundry from delivery vehicles or storage areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any client concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; vocational training in laundry services is a plus.
- Proven experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy laundry baskets or bags (up to 20-25 kg).
- Basic knowledge of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and laundry chemicals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
