This position is ideal for a healthcare professional passionate about occupational health, emergency response, and staff welfare in a dynamic, international humanitarian setting.

As part of the ICRC, you will contribute to a mission-driven organization committed to protecting and assisting victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence. Based in one of Bali’s vibrant locations—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you will work in a collaborative environment with global impact.

If you are a proactive, detail-oriented health professional with experience in staff health management, emergency preparedness, or public health, we invite you to apply and be part of a team that makes a tangible difference in the world.

Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the ICRC staff health program in the assigned region, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and international health standards.
  • Conduct health assessments, vaccinations, and medical screenings for staff, including pre-deployment and periodic check-ups.
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical response as needed, including coordination with local healthcare providers.
  • Organize and deliver health and safety training sessions for staff on topics such as infection control, mental health, and travel health.
  • Maintain accurate health records and medical documentation in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and security teams to assess health risks in the field and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on staff health trends, including illness, injuries, and mental health concerns, to inform program improvements.
  • Ensure availability of medical supplies and emergency kits for staff in remote or high-risk locations.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree or nursing qualification with a focus on occupational health, public health, or emergency medicine.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in staff health, clinical practice, or a related field, preferably in an international or humanitarian context.
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR, or Advanced Life Support (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
  • Strong knowledge of tropical medicine, travel health, and infectious disease control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in multicultural teams.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
  • Experience with health data management systems and electronic medical records.
