Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, cold brew, and latte art, with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and brewers, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory, track supply levels, and place orders as needed.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions and POS system operations accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or similar environment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and milk steaming techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with latte art and a passion for creating visually appealing beverages is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
