Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso, pour-over coffee, and specialty drinks with consistency and flair.
- Craft and present artisanal gelato, ensuring premium texture, flavor, and visual appeal.
- Engage with customers, providing personalized recommendations and delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and workstation in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new drink recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and gelato ingredients, and assist with stock replenishment.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and gelato equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive, energetic café atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or high-volume café (1+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming techniques, and latte art.
- Passion for gelato or willingness to learn gelato preparation and presentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts as needed.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
