Responsibility
- Provide one-on-one support to children with special needs in classroom and therapeutic settings.
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each childās unique requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent progress tracking and adaptive learning strategies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Document and report on the childās development, behaviors, and milestones to stakeholders.
- Support the child in daily routines, transitions, and social interactions to build independence.
- Participate in training workshops and professional development to enhance your skills in special education.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the childās learning style and abilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Education, Psychology, Special Needs Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with children with disabilities (autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Strong patience, empathy, and communication skills to connect with children and their families.
- Knowledge of behavioral management techniques and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow structured guidance from educators and therapists.
- Fluency in English and/or Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required by the organization.
