Responsibility
- Develop and implement creative, play-based lesson plans aligned with early childhood education best practices.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes learning and social interaction.
- Assess and monitor childrenâs developmental progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
- Organize and lead engaging activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan thematic units, events, and field trips that enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain open and positive communication with parents, addressing concerns and sharing insights on their childâs growth.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the classroom and school premises.
- Foster a culturally sensitive and diverse learning environment that respects and celebrates individual differences.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Play School Teacher, Preschool Teacher, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and play-based learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Creative and resourceful in designing hands-on, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, such as Indonesian or Balinese, are a plus).
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young children.
