Responsibility
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, aligning with their unique abilities and challenges.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support in academic, social, and life skills development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and therapists to create inclusive classroom strategies and adaptive learning materials.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Assist in behavioral management using positive reinforcement and evidence-based techniques.
- Facilitate communication between students, educators, and families to ensure holistic support.
- Organize and lead therapeutic or sensory-based activities to enhance motor skills, cognition, and emotional well-being.
- Stay updated on best practices in special education and participate in professional development workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with children with special needs (autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and adaptive teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with diverse abilities.
- Familiarity with IEPs, behavioral intervention plans (BIPs), and assistive technologies is a plus.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in Badung, Bali, with flexibility for occasional travel to other areas.
