Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of automotive spare parts to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and secure high-quality parts.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts to service centers and customers.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to forecast demand and align spare parts availability with business needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and adjustments, using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and investigate issues related to parts quality or delivery delays.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new automotive parts, and technological advancements to recommend improvements in procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in spare parts management, automotive industry, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, and their applications.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
