Join CPI (Penang) as a Sourcing Officer in Bali and play a pivotal role in shaping our supply chain strategy. Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability criteria.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions for the company.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules, quality standards, and ethical practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to support NPI and cost-reduction projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and emerging suppliers.
- Implement supplier risk management strategies to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
- Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in the manufacturing or electronics industry.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier capabilities and market data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
