Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize supplier selection, reduce costs, and improve supply chain resilience for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with company goals and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, operations, finance) to identify sourcing needs, forecast demand, and mitigate supply risks.
- Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier capabilities to recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Drive supplier diversification and localization initiatives to enhance supply chain flexibility and reduce dependency on single sources.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings, lead times, and supplier quality to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating with suppliers to secure materials and components on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and achieving cost reductions in a global supply chain environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Familiarity with semiconductor materials, components, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and cultures.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are advantageous for global supplier interactions.
