Responsibility
- Design, install, and maintain electronic control packages for solid control systems.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of screw conveyors (augers) and cuttings skips.
- Monitor and optimize mud cooler performance to ensure efficient drilling fluid management.
- Operate and maintain vacuum systems and other cleanup equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with drilling teams to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Document operational procedures and maintain accurate records of equipment performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in solid control systems or related equipment in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic control packages, screw conveyors, and mud coolers.
- Familiarity with vacuum systems and cleanup equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to drilling sites as required.
