Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective and reliable suppliers for raw materials and packaging.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks to make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier agreements using ERP or procurement software.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in using procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data analysis).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, cost structures, and supplier performance metrics.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and regulatory compliance in procurement.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
