Responsibility
- Design and engineer solar PV systems, including layout, wiring diagrams, and component selection to meet project specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, and structural integrity.
- Develop technical proposals, cost estimates, and energy yield predictions for solar projects.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar energy systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Perform system performance monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to maximize efficiency and uptime.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and utility providers to integrate solar solutions into residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Prepare and submit technical documentation, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and compliance reports.
- Stay updated on emerging solar technologies, codes, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV system design, installation, or technical support.
- Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope) and tools for shading analysis.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and local regulations governing solar installations.
- Experience with grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems, including inverters, batteries, and monitoring equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or Filipino is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and occasionally to other regions.
