Responsibility
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability concerns.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs into HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Optimize application performance and speed through systematic testing and debugging.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios for new features and hotfixes.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to prioritize and resolve critical issues.
- Document test results, defects, and resolutions for future reference.
- Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes to ensure quality at every stage.
- Stay updated with industry best practices in QA testing and automation tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI/UX validation and debugging.
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques to optimize application speed.
- Familiarity with agile development processes and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
