Responsibility
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to validate software updates.
- Automate testing processes using industry-standard tools to increase efficiency.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
