Responsibility
- Develop and implement effective QA strategies and test plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with QA processes.
- Analyze test results and data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, working closely with the development team to resolve them efficiently.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and reports.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are highly desirable.
