Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that software updates do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software QA Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, Selenium, or similar platforms.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of agile development processes and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
