Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of critical fulfillment capabilities and software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality products.
- Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to meet business needs.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering team.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of software engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or similar leadership role in a tech-driven environment.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, preferably in fulfillment or e-commerce systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance technical and business priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern software development tools and frameworks is a plus.
