Responsibility
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in PLCs, SCADA systems, and distributed control systems (DCS) to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plant instrumentation to minimize downtime and enhance reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize process control strategies and improve system efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA), and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Document maintenance activities, system modifications, and calibration records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on instrumentation and control system operations.
- Assist in the commissioning and testing of new instrumentation and automation systems during plant upgrades or expansions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, or renewable energy sectors.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar), SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of process control loops, PID tuning, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, HART).
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., IEC 61511, SIL) and hazardous area classifications (ATEX, IECEx).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Certifications such as CompEx, ISA, or TÜV Functional Safety are a plus.
