Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for Teradyne's automation and test equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
- Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with Teradyne's hardware solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in automation or test equipment industries.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Git, CI/CD).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with embedded systems or real-time operating systems is a plus.
