Responsibility
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure and data center projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and vendors, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
- Oversee data center migrations, upgrades, and consolidations with zero downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ITIL, ISO 27001) and organizational policies for infrastructure security and reliability.
- Monitor project progress using Agile/Scrum methodologies and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and implementing best practices for future initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a focus on data center operations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects with budgets exceeding $500K.
- Strong expertise in data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Cisco/CompTIA are highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Trello) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a problem-solving mindset.
