Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
- Perform regression, functional, performance, and usability testing to ensure software quality and stability.
- Automate repetitive test cases using scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality.
- Participate in night-shift stand-ups and sprint planning to align QA efforts with development timelines.
- Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance testing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum, CI/CD).
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JUnit).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing to validate data integrity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
