Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Perform manual and automated testing (UI, API, regression, performance) to validate software functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality.
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Participate in nightly deployments and monitor production systems for anomalies or failures.
- Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a night-shift or global team environment.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and API testing (REST, SOAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Passion for quality and a keen eye for detail.
