Responsibility
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using Splunk and other SIEM tools.
- Conduct real-time analysis of security logs and events to identify potential threats.
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Develop and maintain security dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement and improve security measures.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Document and escalate security incidents according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SOC Analyst or similar role, with hands-on experience in Splunk.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection and incident response.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Splunk Core Certified User are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report and escalate security issues.
