Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT PCB magazines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical components of magazine systems to prevent production disruptions.
- Ensure strict adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) compliance protocols to protect sensitive electronic components.
- Conduct regular calibration and testing of magazine systems to maintain precision and reliability.
- Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and parts replacements, for traceability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process enhancements.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts and tools, and coordinate procurement to avoid shortages.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices in SMT equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of SMT equipment, PCB magazines, or similar high-precision machinery.
- Strong knowledge of ESD control measures and their application in electronics manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, manuals, and blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in SMT equipment maintenance or ESD control is a plus.
