As an SME Banking Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining a portfolio of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with SME clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
- Identify and acquire new SME clients through proactive business development, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct financial analysis and credit assessments to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients.
- Prepare and present credit proposals to internal committees for approval, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Monitor client portfolios to mitigate risks and ensure timely repayments, while identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Provide financial advisory services to SME clients, including cash flow management, trade finance, and working capital solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., credit, operations, product) to deliver seamless banking services and resolve client issues.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and banking products to offer relevant and competitive solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SME banking, corporate banking, or relationship management within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record in client acquisition, portfolio management, and revenue growth in the SME segment.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial statements, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a results-driven and customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and banking software/tools.
- Familiarity with local market dynamics and regulatory requirements in Indonesia is advantageous.
