Responsibility
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on sheet metal, hollow profiles, and structural components with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Inspect and test welds for strength, durability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., AWS, ISO).
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including cutting torches, grinders, and plasma cutters.
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding machinery.
- Follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (helmets, gloves, aprons) and ventilation systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder in manufacturing, construction, or metal fabrication (minimum 2+ years).
- Certification in welding techniques (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding methods.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and take precise measurements.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties (e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless steel).
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in standing, bending, or confined positions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, local standards) and hazard prevention.
- Team player with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
