Responsibility
- Measure, cut, and install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to project specifications.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive or mortar.
- Mix and apply grout, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Inspect tile work for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with contractors, designers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate and maintain tile-cutting tools and equipment.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role in construction or renovation.
- Proficiency in using tile-cutting tools, levels, and other relevant equipment.
- Strong understanding of tile materials, adhesives, and grouting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including kneeling and lifting heavy materials.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Valid certification or vocational training in tile setting is a plus.
