Responsibility
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, or other materials for construction or renovation projects.
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, staircases, and cabinetry, with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks on schedule.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Perform site preparations, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize workplace hazards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Construction Worker, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
