Responsibility
- Install, repair, and replace ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other types of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces with precision and craftsmanship.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate tile placement and alignment.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives, mortars, or grouts.
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles, outlets, and edges using manual or power tools with accuracy.
- Apply grout and sealants to ensure durability, waterproofing, and a polished finish.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and designers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tile Mason or similar role, with a portfolio of completed projects (residential, commercial, or hospitality).
- Proficiency in using tile-cutting tools, trowels, levels, and other masonry equipment.
- Strong knowledge of tile materials, adhesives, grouts, and sealants, including their applications and limitations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and project specifications.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills (preferred but not required).
