Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and HVAC units.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Replace or repair defective components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant lines.
- Comply with local and international safety regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants and adherence to environmental standards.
- Document all service activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and best practices for longevity.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 2+ years) as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
- Certification in refrigeration and air conditioning (e.g., EPA 608, local equivalents) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites across Bali.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
