Responsibility
- Design, fabricate, and repair removable dental prosthetics (full/partial dentures, overdentures, etc.) using traditional and digital techniques.
- Interpret and follow precise dental prescriptions and models from dentists to ensure accurate fit and function.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including 3D scanners, milling machines, and polymerization units.
- Perform quality control checks on all prosthetics to meet industry standards and patient specifications.
- Collaborate with dental clinicians to troubleshoot fit issues and adjust appliances as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of work orders, materials used, and patient cases for traceability.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental materials and techniques to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
- Adhere to strict hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols in the laboratory.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Dental Technology (specialization in removable prosthetics preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a dental laboratory, with a focus on removable appliances.
- Proficiency in manual and CAD/CAM dental fabrication techniques.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and materials (acrylics, metals, etc.).
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision in crafting detailed prosthetics.
- Ability to read and interpret dental impressions, bite registrations, and digital scans.
- Familiarity with laboratory software (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad) is a plus.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Indonesian is beneficial but not required.
