Responsibility
- Design, fabricate, and repair dental prosthetics (crowns, bridges, dentures, partials) using traditional and CAD/CAM technologies.
- Collaborate with dentists to interpret prescriptions and ensure precise, patient-specific solutions.
- Select and manipulate materials (e.g., porcelain, acrylic, metals, zirconia) to achieve optimal aesthetics and durability.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all restorations meet clinical and industry standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of patient cases, materials used, and production timelines.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, materials, and techniques through continuous learning.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including 3D scanners, milling machines, and furnaces.
- Adhere to strict hygiene, safety, and infection-control protocols in the lab environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Dental Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Dental Technician, with a portfolio showcasing precision work.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad) and digital workflows is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and biomaterials.
