Responsibility
- Operate and maintain CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD/CAM files to set up and program machinery.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMM to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, perform routine maintenance, and adjust tooling as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce material waste.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to refine designs and workflows.
- Document production data, including measurements, adjustments, and downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in milling and/or turning.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, GD&T, and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming for CNC machines.
- Ability to operate manual machines (lathe, mill) is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface navigation.
- Certification in machining (e.g., NIMS) or vocational training is preferred.
