Responsibility
- Develop and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead safety training sessions and emergency response drills for on-site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards and provide guidance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety supervision role, preferably in construction or real estate.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and international standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively train and influence teams.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
