Are you an experienced Site Manager specializing in EHV (Extra High Voltage) Switchgear Testing & Commissioning? Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end EHV switchgear installation, testing, and commissioning activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to execute high-voltage electrical works with precision and safety.
- Develop and implement testing protocols, commissioning procedures, and quality assurance checks in compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to align project deliverables with technical and commercial requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, PPE, arc flash mitigation) to ensure a zero-incident work environment.
- Prepare and review technical reports, test certificates, and as-built documentation for handover and audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-voltage system faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Monitor procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., P.E., Chartered Engineer) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in EHV switchgear (e.g., 132kV, 230kV, 500kV), with at least 3 years in a site management role.
- Proven expertise in testing & commissioning of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), air-insulated switchgear (AIS), and protection systems.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (IEC 62271, IEEE C37) and local Indonesian electrical regulations (PLN standards).
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors in high-voltage project environments.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site across Bali’s key locations as required.
