Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with construction plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor and document progress, identifying potential risks or deviations from project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address issues and implement corrective actions.
- Verify the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site activities.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety briefings to minimize hazards on-site.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Inspector or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software for documentation and reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
