Responsibility
- Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems and equipment according to project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to project timelines, and manage resources efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure all HVAC work complies with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration and resolve any on-site technical issues.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documents, providing expert input and identifying potential conflicts or improvements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, as-built drawings, and commissioning reports.
- Implement and enforce site health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures for all HVAC-related activities.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an HVAC Site Engineer, preferably within educational, commercial, or institutional projects.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation, maintenance, and commissioning principles.
- Familiarity with relevant local and international building codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., SNI, ASHRAE).
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant HVAC design/simulation software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
