Responsibility
- Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to verify materials, workmanship, and structural integrity.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve technical challenges and optimize construction methods.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation of site activities, including progress photos and material usage.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior site staff and laborers to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction, infrastructure, or development projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Indonesia.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools) is a plus.
