Responsibility
- Operate and maintain Sinker EDM machines to produce high-precision semiconductor molds.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor machining processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and efficiency.
- Document machining parameters and results for quality control and process improvement.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Train and mentor junior machinists to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sinker Machinist EDM, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of EDM machining principles and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
