Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mall facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and structural components.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to mall operations.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using digital or paper-based systems.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of mall events, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, replenishing as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in commercial or retail environments.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and generating reports.
- Good communication skills in English to interact with mall management, tenants, and visitors.
- Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, electrical) is a plus.
