Responsibility
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process payments, including cash and digital transactions.
- Restock merchandise on shelves, ensure proper product placement, and maintain an organized storefront.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks to ensure the store is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock taking and reporting as required.
- Verify the freshness and expiry dates of food and beverage products regularly.
- Handle product promotions and ensure display pricing is current and accurate.
- Provide support to the Store Manager in maintaining operational standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a cheerful and positive attitude.
- Able to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required.
- Must be physically fit to perform tasks such as lifting stock and standing for extended periods.
