As a Shop Assistant, you are the face of our store, ensuring our customers have a seamless and pleasant shopping experience every time they walk through our doors.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the store's operations, managing inventory, and providing friendly customer service. Responsibility

  • Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process payments, including cash and digital transactions.
  • Restock merchandise on shelves, ensure proper product placement, and maintain an organized storefront.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to ensure the store is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock taking and reporting as required.
  • Verify the freshness and expiry dates of food and beverage products regularly.
  • Handle product promotions and ensure display pricing is current and accurate.
  • Provide support to the Store Manager in maintaining operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a cheerful and positive attitude.
  • Able to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be physically fit to perform tasks such as lifting stock and standing for extended periods.
